21 uses for tea tree oil and most you didn’t know you needed. Plus a bonus tip that I love!
Tea tree oil what you didn’t know
This day and age I am sure everyone has heard of tea tree oil in some way. From Young Living to over the counter brand, we all know what it smells like. Did you know that during World War II, for anyone who lived in Australia that was a producer of tea tree oil, they were excluded from the draft until there was enough tea tree oil for hospitals and first aid kits for the soldiers.
A little tea tree oil information
Tea Tree oil has another name, Melaleuca Alternifolia. It is an oil that I never run out of! It is one of the most researched oils on the market. When I first started using essential oils the only thing I used tea tree oil for was acne and boils. I would pop open the acne (or sometimes not) and apply a drop or two of the tea tree oil morning and night. It dried up the acne and would be gone quickly without infection. As I learned more about essential oils I learned there are so many things you can do with this oil.
